My interest towards the Latin music brought me to Mexico. I feel as if I can hear the cheerful rhythm and sorrowful melody of the Latin music when I am in this warm and melting pot environment with full of energy. I created a piece of work with fruits in a warm town where the races are mixed. The town is full of colourful buildings and brightly coloured fruits, which matches to the image of the different kinds of people coexisting together. I put different kinds of fruits in the cracks of walls – this creates the coexistence of organic fruits and inorganic walls. The piece of work is dedicated to people who live in or visit the town.
